Ymari Bañuelos is the founder and visual storyteller behind Virtual Visions Productions. A graduate of Columbia College Chicago (Class of 2026) with a Bachelor of Arts in Film and Television and a minor in Photography, she creates cinematic stories through film, photography, and creative media. With experience in Producing, Assistant Directing, Editing, Videography, and Photography. Ymari works on both client projects and independent films, using visual storytelling to create meaningful and lasting impact.

Ymari's passion for storytelling began at the age of 12 while serving on her church's media team, where she discovered a love for photography and creative media production. That passion continued through her high school broadcasting class, where she directed and edited her first short films, and later grew at Columbia College Chicago as she refined both her technical skills and artistic voice.

Driven by a desire to create work that resonates beyond the screen, Ymari believes the most powerful stories are the ones that help people feel seen, spark meaningful conversations, and leave a positive impact. Whether she's developing an independent film or helping a client share their vision, she approaches every project with creativity, authenticity, and purpose.
